Weekend

This last weekend was the perfect way to end the winter break. We woke up on friday morning and decided we were in the mood for a walk so off we went to get a bagel from the einsteins not by our house but the one we used to walk to all the time on 15th and 15th. From there we decided we weren't done yet so we walked up to jolley's and ended up buying the perfect picture of the temple for our home, it's about time we put one up. We ran errands and just spent the whole day together which really rarely happens. Saturday the husband had to work in the morning but after he got off we went on a mini date and saw the new 'Sherlock Holmes' movie, it was really good. We ended the night playing games, boys against girls and for the first time the boys beat us. Then of course sunday was a typical sunday, church, nap, yummy dinner.
So maybe it wasn't the most exciting weekend but it was just what we needed before school started again. Speaking of school it started yesterday not for me but for Spencer and at first I was dreading it but this semester isn't looking too bad. His schedule leaves a lot of time for me to actually see him..which never happens so I am pretty excited about that. Anyways that's all for now maybe someday I'll actually blog about the important events that happen in our life, maybe.

I'm Free

I'm free! I just took my last final not just of the semester but of my undergraduate degree! I cannot tell you how elated I am. It is such a weird feeling knowing that I am done, and for anyone who cares I got my B.S. in Health Promotion and Education. Now all I have to do is find a job.. :)

Let me introduce you

This statement is true, I do get rid of stress by mopping my floor but I also do it just because I love it. I love the feeling of having a clean house and I get giddy over new cleaning supplies. Well there is one cleaning tool that has stolen my heart and I am actually surprised I haven't posted about her sooner because we've been in love for quite some time. So let me introduce you: This is Babs and she is my shark steam mop. I don't think I could live somewhere that only had carpets because the break up would be too hard. If you don't have a Babs of your own you should get one because she is amazing, period.

On days like today I have to remind myself to 'Just Breathe' because really what else can you do?

School Schmool

I am having a really hard time this semester doing homework or studying of any kind. It boggles my mind that this is my last and by far my easiest semester of my college career and I can barely even bring myself to go to class. I think though it's because I feel like my classes are pointless and full of busy work. Why do teachers give busy work? It doesn't mean you are a good teacher just because you assign homework...so unless it's relevant and I can learn something from it besides the fact that you don't know how to teach, don't waste my time. Sorry for this little venting session, I just had to get it out.

Happy thought of the day

I can't tell you how amazing it feels to not have to register for another semester. It is always such a headache trying to figure out which classes to take and I am so glad to be done with that (at least for now). I am beyond excited to be graduating in a month and it's a good thing I am, because I am having severe senioritis!

It's snowing outside and somehow I don't mind it. In fact it makes me feel a little giddy inside, I even went on a little morning stroll all by myself just marveling at how beautiful snow really is. Usually I would be saying 'I can't believe it's snowing' and 'I'm not ready for this yet' but not this time. Maybe it's because the husband and I went shopping yesterday for holiday decorations or because he promised me peppermint hot chocolate when he gets home today, both of which always puts me in a good mood. Either way it is taking every ounce of my will power to not pull out our christmas decorations, I think I need to leave my house..

Anyways I hope that you all are enjoying the snow too, just don't forget the hot chocolate!
