My mom is one amazing lady with so many talents. She owns an asian market in Provo and her customers just love her and it doesn't surprise one bit because she is so outgoing and friendly. After getting so many requests for recipes she decided to write a cookbook so she could share all her cooking secrets with her customers. Well a couple weeks ago one of her customers asked if she could write an article about my mom, her store and the cookbook so many people have come to love. Here is the link to the article: http://www.uvureview.com/2012/01/09/provo-thai-recipes/.
I am so proud of you mom!

Goodbyes

This week has been an emotional one as we sent off one of our own. Elder Matthew Sidney Edwards left for the MTC on wednesday and we couldn't be more proud of him. We tried to squeeze in every last second we could before he left and I can't help but feel it wasn't enough. We had a sleepover on tuesday night and stayed up til almost 2 am helping our elder pack, nothing like last minute packing. It was weird to see how little he would be taking considering he'd be gone for two years and I just kept thinking that we were missing something because if it were me I'm sure I'd have like 20 bags..Anyways wednesday morning came and went way too fast and I wasn't ready to say goodbye, well turns out we didn't get to say goodbye (long story) but the point is we all felt cheated and bawled our eyes out. Well yesterday we got our first email and I've never been so excited, it was short but it brought so much comfort to us that our elder was doing so well, you can read it here. We are going to miss him so so much but could'nt be more excited for the amazing journey he is going to experience. Love you Matt!!

Weekend

This last weekend was the perfect way to end the winter break. We woke up on friday morning and decided we were in the mood for a walk so off we went to get a bagel from the einsteins not by our house but the one we used to walk to all the time on 15th and 15th. From there we decided we weren't done yet so we walked up to jolley's and ended up buying the perfect picture of the temple for our home, it's about time we put one up. We ran errands and just spent the whole day together which really rarely happens. Saturday the husband had to work in the morning but after he got off we went on a mini date and saw the new 'Sherlock Holmes' movie, it was really good. We ended the night playing games, boys against girls and for the first time the boys beat us. Then of course sunday was a typical sunday, church, nap, yummy dinner.
So maybe it wasn't the most exciting weekend but it was just what we needed before school started again. Speaking of school it started yesterday not for me but for Spencer and at first I was dreading it but this semester isn't looking too bad. His schedule leaves a lot of time for me to actually see him..which never happens so I am pretty excited about that. Anyways that's all for now maybe someday I'll actually blog about the important events that happen in our life, maybe.
